Before You Begin: One-Time Setup Required
For the password reset process to work, you must have already added at least one additional authentication method to you Microsoft account.

If this step hasn’t been completed, the “Forgot my password” link will not work. Your only way to reset your password will be to contact IT at help@icom.edu
Step 1: Initiate Reset
From the main login page, you will enter your email. On the password page, click the “Forgot my password” link to start the reset process.
Step 2: Identify Account
Enter your full ICOM email address and completes the CAPTCHA challenge, then clicks “Next”.
Step 3: Verify Identity
You will select a verification method (e.g., “Text my mobile phone”) and enters the full phone number linked to your account to prove you are the owner.
Step 4: Create New Password
After successful verification, you can enter and confirm a new password that meets the on-screen complexity requirements, then clicks “Finish”.
Step 5: Confirmation
The final screen confirms that the password has been successfully reset. You can now click the link to sign in with the new password.
