Overview
In order to keep our community notified, we highly suggest every employee and student install the AlertAware application on any device where you want to be notified (iPad, Phone, etc.). The application will run in the background on your device and will only receive a notification if sent out from ICOM. The notifications will include weather delays, security issues, etc.
This guide will walk you through the process of signing into the AlertAware app on your cell phone or iPad. Please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth setup.
STEP 1
Scan the QR code (or continue to this link) to begin registration
STEP 2
In the form, enter your name, ICOM email address, and cell phone number.
STEP 3
Go to your email and click the "Complete Account Setup" button
STEP 4
Download the AlertAware app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Once downloaded, sign in using the "Sign in with Google" option.
Fill out any additional contact information you’d like to include.
Stay logged in to receive alerts from your organization.
Please note you do not need to install or set up the AlertAware app on your ICOM MacOS provided devices, they are set up to receive all the notifications.
