This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to add a new phone to your Duo two-factor authentication account. This is a common task when you get a new smartphone or want to use a different device for authentication.
Go to the Duo Central Portal:
- Go to myapps.microsoft.com
- Choose the Duo Central tile
In Duo Central
- Choose "Manage Devices" in the upper right corner of the window.
- Sign in with your ICOM credentials
Choose Your Device Type
- In your mobile phone tile choose "I have a new phone"
Set Up a New Number
- Select "Get Started"
Download the Duo App
- Download the app if you don't already have it.
- Choose "Next"
You might need to delete the old account
- Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the account label
- Choose "Delete"
Scan the QR Code
- In your Duo Mobile app on your phone, choose "Use a QR code"
- Scan your code
- Name your account
Your new phone is now set up and ready to use for two-factor authentication. You can now use it to approve login requests.
