Overview

The following is how to update your computer from macOS 11 to the latest version of macOS

STEP 1

Click the Apple logo and open System Preferences

STEP 2

In System Preferences, open Software Update

STEP 3

Upgrade Now & Terms of Service

The specific version may differ from the screenshot below. As long as it is macOS 12 or later, select Upgrade Now.

Next, agree to the Terms of Service.

STEP 4

Allow the download to complete.

STEP 5

Install the update.

This can take around 20-30 minutes. Ensure your computer is connected to a charger.
