Overview
If you use Apple Mail on your Mac, you will need to remove the old @idahocom.org email address and add the new @icom.edu email address once the migration is completed. Make sure you quit Apple Mail before starting these steps.
STEP 1
In your System Settings, Apple Menu at the top left of your screen, 2nd item down.
Choose Internet accounts.
STEP 2
Select the @idahocom.org email account and choose Delete Account...
STEP 3
Click OK saying that you are sure that you want to delete the account.
STEP 4
To add your @icom.edu account, go back to System Settings and Internet Accounts, choose Add Account...
STEP 5
Select Google
STEP 6
To set up your account, you need to sign into the account in a browser. Choose Open Browser...
STEP 7
Type in your new @icom.edu account and select next. On the next page it will ask for your password, it is the same Jumpcloud password.
STEP 8
You can choose which services you want Apple to pull in from Google. The way we use contacts, the school contacts won't show up in the Contacts app but any you have added will. Your calendar information will show up in the Calendar App and you can sync your notes with Google.
